MARKED FROM THE EARLY AGE
Juan, Jarad and Antonio are all juvenile offenders serving a prison sentence of several years. To keep busy they sign up for a film workshop, where they start producing a short film about their lives. Halfway through the class, Antonio is released from prison. Back home, he struggles to avoid the same patterns that got him locked up in the first place. Meanwhile, the realities of Jarad and Juan’s crimes set in. While the gravity of their crimes haunts every frame, these young men are still simply teenagers. To their advocates, they’re kids. To their critics, they’re monsters. Do they deserve a second chance?
